MEMORIES IN THE MAKING
For Project Piece by Piece, we aim to bring positivity and uplifted spirits into the Children’s Center at the Massachusetts General Hospital, piece by piece. By giving toys and other fun gifts, we want to help every child associate their experiences with fun memories rather than discomfort and fear. Our donations will include Lego sets, puzzles, craft kits, and more. ABOUT MASS GENERAL
As a local organization, we are working with the Children’s Center at the Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH). MGH, located in the Boston area, has the largest hospital-based research program in the country. The establishment works with patients and their families to create specialized treatment plans for everyone.
INFORMATION ABOUT THE KIDS
Chronically ill children are removed from their familiar homes to live in the long-term care units of hospitals for better treatment. The loneliness and change make it an unstable environment. Kids experiencing these stressful situations require support, which is where we hope to step in.
